Principles

How PrivateAI builds.

Five principles shape everything PrivateAI makes. They are written to be checked, not admired.

  1. Private by default, local first.

Privacy is the starting point, not a setting you have to find.

Local first means the work happens on your own computer, and what you give your AI stays with you.

  2. Honest recall.

When it does not know, it says so.

A confident guess is worse than an honest gap. What PrivateAI makes should tell you plainly what it knows and what it does not.

  3. Your data is yours.

You own your data, and only you delete it.

Nothing you keep is removed unless you choose to remove it.

  4. No lock-in.

You can export your data at any time.

If you decide to leave, what is yours leaves with you.

  5. A governed collaborator, not a master.

AI works for people, within rules people set.

Humans lead. The AI is a collaborator that works inside the rules, never the one who writes them.

The thinking underneath

Brooke’s own frameworks.

The principles rest on frameworks developed by PrivateAI’s founder, Brooke Tamsin Clevenger.

Kalionism

‘Noble motion’, from kalos and ion. A framework for changing without breaking.

An action is admissible only if it passes three tests:

  1. Feasibility
  2. Ethics
  3. Coherence with purpose

Trust is energy saved.

Sevahem

Brooke’s ethical method. Its test is three questions:

  1. Is it true?
  2. Does it add beauty?
  3. Does it increase harmony?

She signs off with it:

Sevahem, Always.

A guiding principle

Go vital, not viral.

Enduring connection over fleeting attention. Brooke’s guiding principle.

Further frameworks

Brooke’s frameworks also include the Harmonic Economy and the OK Model.
